Andrea is a lifelong UU whose passion for family support and education has lead her from community work as a public health nurse to religious education programming.
For sixteen years, Andrea has served as Director of Religious Education for Children and Youth at UUCM. Her further education includes UUA Renaissance Recognition, U.U. Leadership School, Our Whole Lives sexuality education training and Befriender traning. She is currently enrolled in the UUA's Religious Education Credentialing program. In 2001 she received the Prairie Star District award for excellence in education, called the "Ellie Morton Award." Andrea serves on the Prairie Star District (PSD) chapter of LREDA (Liberal Religious Educators Association) as treasurer and chairs the Endowment committee for continental LREDA.
Most importantly, she is supported by her husband, Bill, and her four grown children, all of whom have been involved at UUCM.
