Pathway to Membership at UUCM: 2013-2014
Whether you are interested in becoming a member of our congregation, or if you simply would like to know more about the history, principles and structure of our church, please join us for our next “Welcome to UUCM” session and/or our next “UU101 classes".
“Welcome to UUCM: A CLASS ESPECIALLY FOR NEWCOMERS” is an 80 minute information session offered on occasional Sunday mornings following services. If you have been visiting UUCM and would like to find out more about Unitarian Universalism and our congregation, we invite you to join us for a “Welcome to UUCM” class. Together, we will explore the mission and vision of this church, as well as historical and contemporary Unitarian Universalism. There will be time to reflect on our own faith journeys and religions questions. We’ll also have information about our UU 101 classes. Please join us near the piano after the service on the dates below. These sessions will be offered on:
Sunday, September 29, 2013
Sunday, December 8, 2013
Sunday, March 16, 2013
In the “UU101 classes”, we have an opportunity to share more deeply our religious journey. Part one will include an introduction to other new seekers and to our minister, Kent Hemmen Saleska. We will also respond to some of your questions about UUism and offer a broad overview of Unitarian and Universalist history.
In Part two, we will continue to respond to your questions, and explore information and opportunities about our particular church, and how we relate to the wider district and the Unitarian Universalist Association. Please contact the office if you would like to sign up for these classes - firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know if you will need childcare.
