Staff Detail

April is passionate about building community through youth and the connections they create with their peers, adults, and the wider community. She believes that healing is created within the lives of individuals and the community as a whole when bridges are built between individuals. Having majored in Religious Studies, April continues to be a lover of the sacred and the profound by seeking out spiritual teachings and teachers.

April looks for adventure wherever she can find it: skiing, biking, backpacking or kayaking.  She was fortunate to be able to live in the wilderness for a year in the Cascade Mountains working as a cook at a retreat center. Currently, April is working with the Autism Program in the Minneapolis Public Schools. She is excited to serve in the Youth Advisor role and hopes to create adventures with our youth!
