Unitarian Universalist Church of Minnetonka

Mark has been a church musician since he was a young boy, 40 years ago. He has sung in choirs under the direction of Frederic Hilary, John Ferguson, Robert Shaw, Duane Jorgenson, Roger Wagner, Philip Brunelle, Jester Hairston, and Stanislaw Skrowaczewski. Since the late 1980's, Mark has formed and led several men's, women's, and children's vocal ensembles. Prior to coming to UUCM, Mark was the Mid Choir Director (youth in grades 6-12) at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Navarre, MN for eight years. He plays flute, and hopes to get back to oboe one of these days. Mark also holds degrees from Augsburg College and the University of Chicago Divinity School, and has done research, evaluation, and software development related to churches for 30 years.
