Andrea is a lifelong UU whose passion for family support and education has lead her from community work as a public health nurse to religious education programming. She has been Director of Religious Education at UUCM for over eleven years. Her further education includes UUA Renaissance Recognition, U.U. Leadership School, Our Whole Lives sexuality education training and Befriender training. Andrea serves on the Prairie Star District (PSD) Chapter of LREDA (Liberal Religious EDucators Association) as treasurer, and is chairperson of the PSD Nominating Committee. Other involvements include Wayzata area interfaith initiatives (Putting Family First steering committee, Partners for Prevention, and the School Community Health Action Council). Additionally she serves as one of UUCM’s local advocates for Congregations Concerned for Children Advocacy Network and the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee. Most importantly, she is supported by her husband, Bill, and her four nearly grown children, all of which have been involved at UUCM.
