General Assembly: June 23-27, 2010 in Minneapolis!
Peter Mayer will be singing at the Opening Celebration.
The Ware Lecturer for GA 2010 will be Minnesota’s own Winona LaDuke, Native American activist, environmentalist, economist, writer, and founding director of the White Earth Land Recovery Project.
Unitarian Universalist Children’s Choir Camp will be meeting at Macalester College in St. Paul and performing during the Closing Celebration at GA.
There will be a public witness event when GA is in town in conjunction with the Twin Cities’ Gay Pride 2010 events. (We hope everyone will be wearing their yellow “Standing on the Side of Love” t-shirts that day!)
The local service project (Hope Community, Inc.) will get everyone volunteering and giving to a very deserving community development project.
General Assembly Volunteer Opportunities:
District Coordinator, David Lauth from First Universalist in Minneapolis, is looking for volunteers of all kinds to help welcome everyone. If you’re interested in connecting to the volunteer, committee contact David.
