Youth Group Getting Together for Movie Night
All 7th through 12th graders are invited to UUCM on Friday, March 12 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm for Movie Night.
Bring a movie to share (G, PG, or PG-13 ) and bring snacks. The group will decide which movie to watch when all are gathered. You don’t need to RSVP for this event! But come, we’ll miss you if you aren’t there! It will be relaxed and fun!
Family Game & Pizza Night
Join us for an evening of fun and games! Please bring your favorite board game to play and to share, and get ready for pizza and family fun at church. Friday March 12, in the North Room at UUCM, 5:30 to 8:30 pm.

Be prepared with one or two questions you would like to propose for our discussion. We brainstorm ideas - then vote on the proposed questions. Be prepared for a lively and interesting discussion on the one that is selected
You do not need to be a philosopher. All you need to participate is an opinion and an openness to all points of view. Feel free to bring a friend or a bottle of wine (or feel free to bring a friend and a bottle of wine). Our group is always open to anyone that would like to come - you do not have to be a member of our church. All are welcome

General Assembly: June 23-27, 2010 in Minneapolis!
Peter Mayer will be singing at the Opening Celebration.
The Ware Lecturer for GA 2010 will be Minnesota’s own Winona LaDuke, Native American activist, environmentalist, economist, writer, and founding director of the White Earth Land Recovery Project.
Unitarian Universalist Children’s Choir Camp will be meeting at Macalester College in St. Paul and performing during the Closing Celebration at GA.
There will be a public witness event when GA is in town in conjunction with the Twin Cities’ Gay Pride 2010 events. (We hope everyone will be wearing their yellow “Standing on the Side of Love” t-shirts that day!)
The local service project (Hope Community, Inc.) will get everyone volunteering and giving to a very deserving community development project.
General Assembly Volunteer Opportunities:
District Coordinator, David Lauth from First Universalist in Minneapolis, is looking for volunteers of all kinds to help welcome everyone. If you’re interested in connecting to the volunteer, committee contact David.
